Heart Into Your Cupcake




Ingredients:

1) 3/4cup butter (salted)
2) 1 1/2 cup fine granulated sugar
3) 3 eggs
4) 1 tsp vanilla essence
5) 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
6) 1/2 tsp baking soda
7) 2 1/2 cups flour
8)1 1/3 cup milk

For The Pink Sponge :

1) 100 gms flour
2) 100 gms fine granulated sugar
3) 100 gms butter
4) 2 eggs
5) 1/2 tsp strawberry essence
6) 3 tbsp milk
7) 1/2 tsp baking powder

METHOD FOR PINK SPONGE:
1) Beat butter and sugar add eggs, and strawberry essence.
2) mix flour with baking powder and fold in egg batter, add 3 tbsp milk
and colour to the batter mix well until uniform
in color.
3) Bake batter in a 8x8 square tin, level with spatula. batter should be
one inch high in baking tin.
4) Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 c, gas mark 5 and 350 f, for 25 min
or until done.
5) Remove from oven and cool it on a wire rack, once cooled pop it in
freezer to harder slightly, this make it easier to cut the shape out.
6) remove from the tin and cut 12 small heart shapes with cookie cutter.


CUPCAKES:
1) combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy,add egg one at a time
and mix well. Add vanilla, mix baking powder, baking soda in flour .
finally add dry flour ingredients to batter alternately with milk, start
and end with dry ingredients, mix well until incorporated.batter should
be creamy.
2) pop a desert spoon of the batter in each case and pop the heart shape
in the centre. Dividethe rest of the mixture over the hearts being
careful as you don't want them to topple to one side.
3)place in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until done on 180c ,
350c, gas mark 5.
