Ingredients
Mutton leg 1 ½ kg
Papaya 2 tbsp heaped
Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
Poppy seeds grinded 1 tbsp
Coriander seeds roasted and grinded 1 tbsp
Desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
Gram 1 tbsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Black cumin 1 tsp
White cumin roasted and crushed 1 tsp
Nutmeg grinded ¼ tsp
Mace grinded ¼ tsp
Allspice 1 tsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Oil ½ cup
Curry powder 1 tsp heaped
Method
Prick mutton leg well, marinate with raw papaya, salt and curry powder for 1 hour then boil in 2 cups of water when tender remove, dry roast coriander, coconut and poppy seeds, grind finely, heat oil add ginger garlic paste, grinded masala and all remaining spices, fry well add yogurt and the boiled mutton legs, fry well, leave it on dum for 15 to 20 minutes.
